ALFREDO RAMOS

Mexican American, Alfredo Ramos was born in raised in East Los Angeles. After graduating from Cal State Los Angeles, he segued into the industry when he was chosen to be part of The Smithsonian Institutes emerging artists program. He directed Road Dogz with Jacob Vargas and Clifton Collins,Jr. He then made his way into comedy by directing Food Stamps with Danny Trejo. In 2021 he won the IndieFEST festival for his Comedy feature - Welcome to Our World which starred Danny Trejo, Noel Gugliemi and Emilio Rivera. Alfredo landed in the Walt Disney Fellowship TV Program. He most recently directed episode 8, S1 of Comedy "The Garcias" on HBO Max.

DAVE PATTEN

In Patten’s 10+ years of directing music videos and commercials, the Philadelphia native has garnered 65+ million views on his YouTube portfolio, directing for record labels including Atlantic and Warner Brothers, and for brands like Under Armour and Jack Daniels, scooping awards for best short film, best music video, best cinematography, and more. Patten’s urban flare mixed with lifestyle good vibes gives his spots a fast-paced, cutting edge tone. Patten directed the short film "Little Fig" alongside and for actor and producer Britt Robertson (The Space Between) which took home best drama, golden trolley and the audience award at the media film festival.

DAVID GREENSPAN

Born in Manhattan and raised on the not-so mean streets of Long Island,  David Greenspan graduated from Harvard University where he studied Economics and East Asian Studies.  David also holds an MFA in filmmaking from the University of Southern California.  His graduate thesis film, Bean Cake, became the first and only USC student film to win the short film Palme d’Or at Cannes. David's first feature, a dark comedy called 5150 Mall Cop, premiered in competition at the  Slamdance festival.  David has directed 3 episodes of Shonda Rhimes' hit show, GREY'S ANATOMY. Most recently, David directed three episodes of the hit show STATION 19 for ABC. David currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and sons, and is a member of the DGA.

FABIO FREY

Born in Switzerland, raised in South Carolina and now working in Los Angeles, Fabio Frey has a unique background that impacts his work and worldview. Fabio cut his teeth in college producing/directing short films for Comedy Central, and later directing commercials. His most recent project, a feature film entitled My Dead Dad, recently sold to HBO Max after a sweeping festival run (Austin Film Festival, Whistler, Mill Valley, Woodstock, among many others) where it won many audience and best picture awards. The project allowed Fabio to work with and establish relationships with legendary actors Raymond Cruz (Breaking Bad), and Steven Bauer (Ray Donovan), as well as younger actors on the rise Pedro Correa (The Last Beer Run) and Simon Rex (Red Rocket).

FERNANDA BELMAR

Fernanda Belmar is a chilean filmmaker with a Masters of Fine Arts in Filmmaking and a bachelor’s degree in Digital Audiovisual Communication. Fernanda's storytelling is based on social issues, human struggles and often rooted on personal experiences. She's currently in the post production of her last short film Loving Autumn, starring well-known Chilean actress Vivianne Dietz. Her previous short film Undocumented was a finalist at the Student Los Angeles Film Awards and won her first award for Best Emerging Filmmaker at Through Women's Eyes International Film Festival. Selected as one of 35 interns at the Academy Gold Rising Production Track Program 2021 in the Film Editing Discipline. She's currently working at Fabula Producciones.

Gabriella A. Moses


Her work as a writer/director has received support from the Sundance Institute’s Creative Producing Lab, Tribeca Film Institute’s All Access Lab and Creators Market, IFP (The Gotham) No Border’s Film Market and the Los Cabos Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund programs. She has participated in the the Sundance Screenwriter's Intensive, the NYWIFT "From Script to Pre-Production" Workshop, Tribeca and Chanel Through Her Lens, AT&T Untold Stories program and the annual Black List Screenwriter’s Lab. Most recently she was selected for the inaugural WScripted Cannes Screenplay List, LALIFF & Netflix Inclusion Fellowship and The Black List Latinx List. Her screenplay EL TIMBRE DE TU VOZ won Fresh Voice’s Best Drama screenplay including recognition as through their Diversity & Inclusion and our Culture & Heritage Spotlight Awards. 

Her directorial debut feature film Boca Chica produced by Selene Films and filmed in the Dominican Republic is playing the 2023 festival circuit. She believes in sharing stories with underrepresented protagonists that test viewer’s perceptions of identity and their imaginations.

JAMES COTTEN

Originally from Arkansas/Oklahoma, An alumni of The London Film School and The Los Angeles Film School, James Cotten began his career under the legendary Roger Corman, directing his first feature, Demon Slayer, which played on SyFy for over three years. Cotten formed his company Dark Highway Films in 2005, producing his next directorial, Sugar Creek, and later Resurrection County, which he wrote to rave reviews.  James directed the Action/Crime Drama THE LINE, starring Ray Liotta, Andy Garcia, Esai Morales and Danny Trejo. James has produced a number of films, including Darren Bousman’s Devil’s Carnival and Alleluia: Devil’s Carnival 2, Madison County, Hansel & Gretel Get Baked, and I Remember You. Most recently, he produced and directed the film Painted Woman, winner of 11 awards and a spotlight film at the Bentonville FIlm Festival. During his career, James has also owned and operated two post facilities, Local Hero and Imperial Creative, where he served as a post producer or VFX producer on over a hundred titles, including, Pitch Perfect, Captain Fantastic, The New Batch, and Dope.  

JOCELYN COOPER

Jocelyn Cooper, a native of St. Louis, Missouri has always been driven by her passion for storytelling. With roots tracing back to Mexico, Jocelyn brings a unique perspective to her work, blending her Midwestern upbringing with her cultural heritage. In 2012, she pursued this passion by enrolling in Loyola Marymount University's esteemed Film and Television Production program. After completing her education, Jocelyn advanced in her career as the Head of Content Development at London Alley Entertainment, a leading commercial and music video shop in Los Angeles. Eventually, she transitioned into directing and writing full time, focusing on creating character driven and innovative narratives. Jocelyn has crafted music videos for notable artists such as Zac Brown Band, Party Favor, Nikki Lane and Walshy Fire, and has collaborated with esteemed music labels such as Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records, and Sony Music Group. She has also lent her talents to commercials for a diverse range of brands, including LG USA, Lenovo, Benjamin Moore Paints, Purina, and Ford's Gin.

STEPHANIE OH

Stephanie Osuna-Hernandez is a first-gen Chicana writer/director born and raised in Inglewood, CA. She started in digital media as a video producer for We Are Mitu where she directed, produced and edited viral content. She was the assistant to Marvin Lemus and Linda Y. Chavez for season one of Gentefied and returned as their showrunner’s assistant for season two. She worked with Netflix’s Con Todo as a writer and created content for their original titles for a Latine audience. She was a part of Film Independent's inaugural Episodic Directing Intensive. In 2020, she directed the short film, Dreamer, which was selected for the Official Latino Film Festival and Outfest. She also directed Sorta Rican for the NHMC Latinx Stream Showcase. Most recently, she was a directing fellow for Film Independent’s Project Involve 2021, where she directed her latest short film, Calabaza. It has been selected by The Philadelphia Latino Film Festival, LALIFF, The Micheaux Film Festival, and the Palm Springs Short Fest.
